My black and white photos of the people in The Caribbean might sound elementary to some of you.

You might think what is the point to take the lovely colourful tones away from photos when The Caribbean is famous for them.

But in my opinion when you take the colours away you start to see something different. Something you will not see in colours.

I find that colours can be a little bit unsettling in some images and they can take the focus away from your subject.

I love the subtlety of tones that black and white images can have.
